Café World > Employees
There are two employee positions in the game Café World: head chef and waiters. The head chef is responsible of cooking dishes and then transferring them to counters. Waiters then take care of serving those dishes to sitting clients. Waiters also have to clear tables when a client finishes eating.
When you play Café World, only you can be the head chef of the game. As you progress into the game, you can hire more employees, which can only take waiter positions. You can choose characters among your Facebook friends to become waiters.
Levels where you can hire additional employees: 8, 13, 21, 29 (more info will come).

one question- what are the levels in which u receive the ability to hire more employee’s
Adam, I will add that information today. But it’s levels 8, 13, 21, and 29. There should be more after, but I am at level 34. They can all be waiters only.
My waiters don´t serve.

there where too many tables so I sold some
and my waiters started again
They probably went on a strike (work overload)..hehe!

SO, I can have only ONE waiter until I get to level 8? Is that correct?
@ Kelly, yes, you can hire your second employee only at level 8, unless Cafe World changed some settings, which it does sometimes.
For those who are waiting getting more than 5 waiters even you are lv 55+ i am already 56 i have only 4 waiters so you can’t hire some more.
Ivan, There must be something wrong because I have much more than 4 employees (waiters), and I am at level 51.
That’s right, I have 6 waiters/waitressess and am on level 52
I don’t know why I can’t hire any employees at my Café… and all my neighbours at the bottom have no photos. How did that happen, what can I do?

All my neighbours pictures are not there, I can not hire my friends only Zynga. I was able to see my friends prior to the 3rd waiter being hired.
Same problem as Carol Radics above post. No pics of friends only Zynga (which doesn’t do anything).
Must be a bug. Though with my setup 3 waiters seems to be all I’ll need…
Update: I was able to hire “Zynga” as my 4th waiter. But still no neighbors available to hire, plus in Cafe World neighbors all look like chefs with no pictures (Facebook photo’s).
I am having the same problem, I fired my help, when to hire new and it won’t load and all my friends pictures are gone. Haven’t found a solutin yet and Zynga support has been no help.
I’m a level 47 player and have been having the same problem for weeks. Zynga hasn’t been any help for me either. So I started searching the web and from bits and pieces of tips, I decided to change my cafe layout. I only have 1 zynga waitress because I had also deleted all my workers thinking it was them, but cannot rehire because friends won’t load. My new set up locks the waitress behind all my serving tables. I set up the customer tables (24 of them) in single seats – 4 rows of 6, none touching each other. I left my game up over night and went from a rating of 5.0 to 105.0!! I couldn’t believe it actually worked. Having the waitress locked behind the serving tables is a very cool trick. She serves and cleans from there and no more customer waiting!! Now I’m just happy to be playing again!!! Maybe this will work for some of you also having the same problem. I’d also be happy to share a pic of my layout if Anto allows!
Well hiring employees seems to be working fine now. I fired 4th waiter named “Zynga” and hired my sister.

currently at level 30 with, wait for it, 5 waiters. maybe the amount of waiters depend on the size of the cafe…
@ Meera, the number of waiters you get should not be affected by the size of your restaurant, unless there was a recent update made by Cafe World programmers.
Do your friends get notified if they’re hired? or is it just for fun so that you can choose from your friends?
@ M, when the game started, friends didn’t get a notification if they were hired. But that might have changed now.
I am at level 14 (made 13 and 14 today) and just realized that although i should have more than 1 waiter, i was never given the option to hire more. how would i do that?

I have only just added this game and have done everything apart from hire my 1st waiter as it won’t let me . The page for friends pops up but my friends names don’t appear on it . Therefore I am not serving any customers apart from when I’m logged off that particular game……..someone please help!!!

I cannot hire my friends, only zynga, and now I am able to hire a 4th employee and none of my friends show up.. it just says friend list loading and it takes forever and nothing happens.. please help me!

I am also having the problem with my chef (me) now being called Zynga, and all of my friends cafes at the bottom are also called zynga. What causes this? I am at level 31.
I just started on cafe world. I cannot hire a waiter. The screen just stops on the “hire a friend” page.
My screen freezes at “hire a friend”. What should I do to fix this?

why cant i see my neighbors names or profile pic, they all say zynga instead of their name..i also cant hire anyone.. i fired one of my employees and it wont load my friends so i can rehire someone..is there a glitch in the game or something?
hello, I don’t understand…i’m on the level 24 and i have got 26 neighbors and my cafe cash not growing up. I started with 5 and now it’s 5 too. If i level up, or something else, don’t have to grow up the cash?i can’t to buy the special offers, because there are in cafe cash!thanks your help!!
i thought that the cafe cash, the dollars you can only buy with real money.
Help! When I start my Cafe world, the window where it says ‘Hire A Friend!’ doesn’t go away. I only got one friend but it just says ‘Friend List Loading…’ What should I do now?

Yes I did that like a hundred times and when I click on the green button nothing happens…but it’s not like freezing, in the background I’m wandering around and doing something at my (empty) stoves…

would zynga ever consider the option of hiring an ‘assistant chef’ to help out with the cooking/prep work like in real life LOL? it would help for higher level players and perhaps buy an assistant chef/sous chef or whatever you want to name it for a price if needed…

Hi, for weeks now my chef (me) has lost it’s photo and only shows a white chef, all my other neighbours are ok, nothing has been changed or deleted, this happened when every photo of my neighbours went white, next day the neighbours photos reappeared except mine, is there any way to rectify this please?

Guy!! I have a big problem, I can’t hire anyone. Only me as a chef, so when my dish finished I don’t have empty stove. More and more dishes I had to delete.
Logging off and on thousand times.
I had same problem. I deleted all my staff at the same time…now I can’t rehire, or figure out how to rehire
Same problem here. I tried looking up information on Zynga’s forum, but no luck there. I have only empty Zynga pictures in the bottom and can’t hire people to work for me. I tried
* logging on and off
* restarting computer
* deleting cache and cookies and then restarting
All no luck :S
Suggestions for other things to try? I have had this problem for the past days now and nothing seems to change, so a temporary bug seems unlikely, unless Zynga is just ignoring this issue.
You really only need one employee to serve as many customers you can fit in your cafe. The trick is the how your serving trays are configured.
If you trap your waiter from your tables and point the trays toward your trapped employee he/she will magically serve without walking to the tables and clean the same way.

Click on your employee. It will let you add new ones.
